As reluctant as I am to sell this, we've decided to upgrade to something slightly larger for a soon to be expanding family. If you are at all familiar with Toyota campers, and more specifically Sunraders - you know this is pretty much a rare gem. I have owned 2 other Sunraders in the past, but this is easily my favorite one. This was the very first iteration ( and in my opinion the best ) of the Sunrader camper. It's super short, only 17 feet long and it only weights 3,650 lbs WET. That's about 1000 lbs less than any other standard 18ft Shorty Sunrader. It has a rear door, and rear opening hatch, which is pretty amazing. It also has an expanding cabover bed, built on a wood platform that pulls out to completely cover the dinette area - full expansion size is roughly the size of a California king mattress.

The interior is unmolested and all original. All the fixtures, lights, cabinet doors - all in tact and functioning. Even the original linoleum floor, upholstery and cushion covers which have no stains or rips, or any funky smell. We put in two new bamboo curtain rods over the mid side windows. Original cabover curtains and side curtains are also still included! The fiberglass is structurally sound, with a few wear and tear marks, but nothing serious. The roof has all been freshly resealed, and there are no leaks. We hate to sell this. We are the third owners - purchased from the second owner who had stumbled upon it as a barn find.

Mechanically, the rig is very sound. We just took it on a 1100 mile trip last month without issues. The engine runs like a top, burns 0 oil or any other fluids. Just had our local toyota specialist give it a full run through, included full Valve adjustment, carb adjustment, new exhaust manifold gasket, Cab AC service, oil and coolant changed / replaced.

2 roof vents - one in bathroom, one above dinette.
Cab-over sleeps 2+ - massive bed that pulls out to become even larger. Dinette also converts to sleep 2 more people.

Black water tank recently cleaned and emptied.

All service performed in the last 10k Miles:
Valve adjustment
AC serviced and recharged.
New Exhaust manifold gasket
Oil change every 5k miles
Fuel filter replaced
Starter replaced
New battery terminals
Clutch & master cylinder replaced
New plugs & wires
New tires (all 6) and brakes all around
New engine & coach batteries
New water pump
New propane tank

Cons: Slight water stains on headliner from leaving a roof vent open during a rain storm one night, totally my fault, also previous owner installed roof racks to mount the rear hatch prop poles and did not seal these. I have since removed and resealed them properly with butyl tape. Scratches on hood paint. Original water pump just died - have a new one on order and will be replacing if it doesn't sell before it arrives.
